pathway to destiny

About Me

Carol Bullard had a dramatic conversion to the Lord when she was 21. Her future husband, Waymon shared Christ with her at the time. She experienced freedom from worldly strongholds right away. After her conversion she  attended Zion Bible Institute in East Providence, Rhode Island.  She graduated with a diploma in Christian Education. Upon returning home from Zion, she married Waymon Bullard and moved to Fayetteville, NC where they resided for 22 years. Carol was active in women’s ministry there, and soon became the Director.  Her duties involved counseling, teaching bible classes, speaking, and planning retreats and general overseeing of the women’s ministry.

In 1995 Carol discovered that she was adopted. She realized this was the key that had been missing to unlock years of feeling rejected. Carol dug around for the truth; in doing so, family secrets were revealed. She found her biological father, sister, and brother. Since then, she has experienced deep healing and restoration. Carol has a heart to help set other women free from barriers that hold them back.

In 1996, Waymon’s warehouse in Fayetteville burned down with all its contents. Carol and Waymon had been traveling to Charlotte to visit their son who was attending a ministry school. They loved Charlotte and the church they would visit while there. Now they could see that the warehouse burning down was actually a blessing. They were free to move because they weren’t bogged down with a bunch of stuff! So in 1997, Carol, Waymon and their daughter, Anna moved to Charlotte.

Recently, (2006), Carol completed her BA degree in Urban Christian Ministry from New Life Theological Seminary in Charlotte. She was Valedictorian of her class. She has also completed training with International Fellowship of Chaplains and is now a licensed and ordained chaplain.

Currently, Carol leads a Women’s group where she encourages women through fellowship, teaching, and prayer. She publishes a newsletter every month that encourages women to pursue their purpose. Her goals are to expand her ministry to reach many more ladies with the message that all ladies have value and a God given purpose and destiny. Her desire is to see women of any age refreshed in their vision to fulfill their life purpose and be released in the gifts God has given them to accomplish their goals.

Carol is currently writing a book about her journey from rejection to restoration.

She has written a number of inspirational fiction stories that leave the reader with an important message.

Carol has been married to Waymon Bullard for thirty three years. They have two grown children and three granddaughters. Waymon is a general contractor. Her son, Noah is married to Anna and lives in Vidalia, GA. They have three lovely girls; Ellie (5), Ava (4), and Lilly (3). Noah is a music teacher in the public elementary school. He also teaches violin and guitar privately.

Since Ava, (my middle granddaughter) was diagnosed with autism; Anna has been working zealously to begin an autism support group in her area.

My daughter, Anna, (yes, we have two Anna Bullards!) is single and works uptown Charlotte at an architecture firm. In her spare time, Anna composes music. She is in the process of recording an album.

Carol enjoys cooking, especially with vegetables she grows from her garden. She also enjoys shopping in thrift stores hunting for treasures! She loves spending time with her family and her three precious granddaughters.

Carol is a member of the Antioch International Church, International Fellowship of Chaplains and Carolina ChristianWriters.
